     2. Machine Wash (if necessary)

        • If you must use a washing machine, place your shapewear in a mesh laundry bag to protect it. Select the delicate or gentle cycle, and use cold water.

     3. Do Not Wring or Twist

        • Gently press out excess water without wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can damage the shape and compression.

     4. Air Dry Only

        • Lay flat to air dry. Avoid hanging your shapewear, as this can stretch it out. Never use a dryer, as the heat can break down the fibers and ruin the compression.

     5. Avoid Ironing

        • Do not iron your shapewear. If needed, use a steamer on low heat to remove any wrinkles without direct contact with the fabric.

     6. Proper Storage

        • Store shapewear flat in a drawer to maintain its shape and elasticity. Avoid folding it too tightly or placing heavy items on top.
